From a Cafe in the Sky..

Named after Malaysia's beloved 'coconut milk', SANTAN is a reflection of the purity and simplicity of ASEAN flavours and ingredients. Inspired to share this love for ASEAN dishes and flavours with the world, SANTAN aims to uncover the best culinary secrets from ASEAN and bring this to you.

What started as 'AirAsia Cafe', simply serving sandwiches and snacks in the sky, Santan was born in 2015 with the vision to create a unique dining experience in the sky, serving only the best and most delicious ASEAN flavours. We've since served over 600 million passengers from across the world.

Today, many of our meals have become household names in Malaysia and beyond, including our signature Pak Nasser's Nasi Lemak and Uncle Chin Chicken Rice. 


In 2019, our wildest dreams are finally coming true and we're so happy to have a home right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will never have to miss your most loved Pak Nasser's Nasi Lemak.

Located in the heart of the Klang Valley in Mid Valley Megamall, our flagship restaurant marks a significant milestone in our timeline and we can't wait to continue our mission in bringing delicious ASEAN flavours to the world.

Our ASEAN story goes beyond bringing the best flavours and ingredients to you. We also work with local farmers, suppliers and partners to ensure sustainability and long-lasting relationships between our ASEAN community as we continue to provide jobs and opportunities to local communities for them to grow.
